Sterling Vacations Position
Sterling Vacations of Austin, Texas is an official representative of Louis Cruises in North America. Sterlings' veteran industry owners, Damir-Dodo Bogdanic and Rose Pace-Bogdanic, CTC, helped to introduce this 70-year old tourism giant's cruising division to the North American market a few years ago.

Background
Louis is a 70-year old public company whose stock is traded on the Cyprus exchange. With 7,000 employees dedicated to travel, Louis Cruise Lines currently sails approximately 25% of the total capacity in the Mediterranean, with some of their ships on long-term charter with European operators. Of the 12 vessels comprising the Louis fleet, 7 of them are owned by the new public company, Louis Organization. The Louis company was founded back in 1935 and first started out as a small local travel agency, expanding early on into the hotel business. Through the decades, strategic development had them expand into one of the Mediterranean’s foremost travel organizations with hotels, aircraft ground handling, travel agencies, catering, and duty-free shops as well as a progressive cruise line. Louis is proud to describe their position as a niche international player, fulfilling the needs and wishes of its customers while ensuring the best quality for the best price.

George A. Stathopoulos, President & CEO whose outstanding cruise career has propelled him to direct the growth of the newly formed entity based in Athens and Genoa. The company’s expansion to innovative and traditional ports in Europe, North Africa and especially the Aegean, is being driven by increasing demand for upgraded cruise products in Greece and around the Med.

Unique Embarkations and Disembarkations
Louis provides clients a unique opportunity to embark and disembark at various points on the ships' itineraries. This allow for interesting combinations of cruise and land vacations to the countries in which clients are most interested.
A general view of the ship itineraries being operated by Louis is as follows: m/s Coral sails weekly in the Western Mediterranean and on the Casablanca itineraries; m/s Sapphire sails slightly longer itineraries ranging from 8-11 days primarily in the Eastern Mediterranean, Italy, Greece and Turkey areas; m/s Cristal, m/s Aquamarine, m/s Orient Queen and m/s Perla are sailing weekly in the Aegean doing 3, 4 and 7 day Greek island and Turkey cruises. Charters
Most of Louis' ships range from 600-800 pax and can be a perfect ship to charter for incentives, corporate meetings or private groups. For dates and itinerary suggestions, contact Sterling Vacations, Charter Broker for the ship company.
