Day 5, Tuesday - Cruise / Patmos, Greece and Kusadasi, Turkey
Morning the ship is in Patmos 7:00AM to 10:30AM. This serene island is known as the site of the apocalyptic Revelations of St. John the Divine, written here during his exile from the Roman Empire. The cave where he is said to have lived is now the site of the Monastery of the Apocalypse, which houses priceless icons and manuscripts.
In the afternoon the ship is in Kusadasi from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM. An optional tour to nearby Ephesus should not be missed, for here history truly comes to life. (B,L,D,O)

Afternoon 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM the ship is in Santorini, perhaps the most breathtaking of all the Greek Islands especially at sunset. Around 1500B.C., a volcanic eruption destroyed the center of the island, leaving a crescent shaped rim of cliffs around a harbor formed in the volcano's caldera.
