Day 1, Saturday, arrive Zagreb, Croatia

Day 2, Sunday, Zagreb, Croatia
Breakfast at your hotel is followed by a morning city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. Day 4, Tuesday, Sarajevo & Mostar, Bosnia / Dubrovnik, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel begin a tour of Sarajevo, the capital city of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You will see the Influence of a number of cultures and civilizations. Eenjoy a visit to the picturesque Turkish bazaar, Bas Carsija, the Husref Bay’s Mosque, Olympic Stadium and Sarajevo War Tunnel Museum. This afternoon you travel through the majestic mountains and along the gorge of the Neretva River to Mostar, where we will see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the recently reconstructed 16th century, single arch stone bridge. Day 5, Wednesday, Dubrovnik, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel there is a walking tour of "Old Dubrovnik" this morning; the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. Day 6, Thursday, Montenegro Excursion
After breakfast at your hotel you'll start the full day excursion to the mountainous magnificence of charming Montenegro. At the mouth of beautiful Bay of Kotor, the longest and deepest fjord in southern Europe rise the little towns of Risan and Kotor. You'll proceed on to Cetinje, once the seat of the Monenegrin rulers, today a full city-museum. Continue along the scenic coast for a short stop in the villages of Sveti Stefan and Budva - an ancient, walled town bursting with a

Day 7, Friday, Split, Croatia
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning we depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. Enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. 227 km. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8, Saturday, Trogir / Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
After breakfast, we head north along the coast to Trogir, the center of artistic activities, where scholars from around the world gather to study and paint. We then journey inland to the beautiful UNESCO protected Plitvice Lakes National Park. Dinner and overnight Plitvice. 317 km

Day 9, Sunday, Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
A full day to enjoy the close-up nature of Plitvice National Park. Have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. The rest of the day is at leisure. Day 10, Monday, Opatija, Croatia / Bled, Slovenia
Breakfast at your hotel and we drive back to the coast traveling along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija - often described as the Nice of the Adriatic. An orientation tour of Opatija will include the highlights of this former imperial resort city where kings and queens retreated. Afterwards, continue to Bled, beautifully set amidst the Julian Alps. Day 11, Tuesday, Lake Bled / Ljubljana, Slovenia
Breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards begin the morning sightseeing tour featuring the charming town of Bled wrapped around the lakeshore. Enjoy the imposing view from the 10th century Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. After your tour, travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Day 12, Wednesday, Postojna Caves, Slovenia / Venice, Italy
Breakfast at your hotel. Depart to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Continue on to the marvelous city of Venice. Overnight Venice. 255 km (B,O)
Day 13, Thursday, Venice, Italy
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll begin a walking tour of Venice featuring the major highlights: St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs. The tour ends with a visit to a glass-blowing factory where you may see the demonstration of traditional Venetian glass creations. Balance of the day is at leisure to stroll, shop and enjoy this busy, but still charming, city. An optional gondola ride is an excellent way to experience Venice.
